Gazania (Gazania)

Gazania Plant Features

Every time the sun comes up the brilliant, daisy like flowers of gazania pop into bloom. The flowers, which close at night, come in a variety of fiery colors including orange, red, yellow, bronze and showy bi-colors. Gazania, which acts as a perennial in the South and an annual in the North is super easy to grow and very tolerant of hot, dry conditions. The plants are also attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. Gazania grows 6 to 12 inches tall, making it a wonderful option for the front of the border or containers. Hardy from zones 9-11.
