Copperleaf (Acalypha wilkesiana)
Copperleaf Plant Features
Copperleaf is an easy-to-grow tropical shrub that often features brilliantly and dramatically variegated foliage. It's evergreen in frost-free climates, where it's commonly used in landscapes. Copperleaf makes a bold hedge, excellent addition a shrub border, or adds delightful color to mixed borders.Because this tropical shrub grows well in containers, copperleaf is also popular in Northern climates as a container garden plant. It looks terrific on its own, but also pairs well with colorful annuals in complementary or contrasting colors. We also love mixing it with other foliage plants, such as coleus, for eye-catching color!
