Heucherella (Heucherella spp.)
Heucherella Plant Features
Combining the best traits of its two parents (Heuchera and Tiarella), heucherella makes an easy-care and spectacular groundcover in shady or partially shady locations. Growing 4 to 24 inches tall, depending on variety, heucherella develops brightly colored heuchera-like foliage that's finely cut and heavily veined like a tiarella. Heucherella blooms in the spring and early summer producing stalks of small bell-like white or pink flowers that attract hummingbirds. The plants make an excellent partners for spring-blooming bulbs and shade-loving perennials, and are relatively deer resistant. Hardy from zones 4-8.Heucherella Questions?

Heucherella Growing Instructions
Heucherella grows best in a shady spot, but in Northern gardens many varieties can take a bit more sun. In the South, place them in a location where they are protected from afternoon heat. Heucherella prefers rich, slightly moist soil that contains organic matter and compost. Keep the soil slightly moist at all times so adding a mulch around your plants is a great way to keep your heucherella hydrated.Heucherella is not intended for human or animal consumption.
