Plant Bio
Epipremnum amplissimum
Native to areas of Southeast Asia, Silver Streak Pothos (Epipremnum amplissimum) is a unique species that’s both elegant and easy to grow. Its lance-like leaves gradually broaden if the plant is grown vertically and has a chance to mature. It stands out from other common houseplants thanks to its leaf shape and silvery markings. This makes it a perfect partner for other plants like Baltic Blue Pothos
, Moonlight Scindapsus
, and Monstera Peru
, which you can use to create a bold tropical display that you’ll enjoy every day and is also ideal for showing off on social media. Like most other Epipremnum species, it appreciates bright light, average household temperatures, and average to above-average relative humidity levels. Water as the top half or so of the potting mix dries to the touch. If you’re in doubt about whether to water, it’s usually better to give it too little water than too much.
Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact.
