Tropical Hibiscus HibisQs® Adonicus Double Orange

$24.99

Add brilliant color to sunny spaces on your deck, patio, porch, or planters with the beauty of Adonicus Double Orange Tropical Hibiscus. Brand-new and super cool, it might change the way you think about Tropical Hibiscus. The brilliant orange 5-inch-wide flowers are full of petals, and even though the flowers are big and heavy, the stems are strong enough to keep them facing up. It grows as a fuller, lusher plant, so you’ll see more of these exotic flowers than on older Hibiscus. The flowers are also longer lasting, able to stay open two or even three days in cooler climates. More and longer-lasting flowers mean you’ll enjoy so much color. It’s shipped fresh from our farm, direct to your door.

  • Perfect for landscapes or planters
  • Blooms all summer long, even in intense heat
  • Loves all-day sun or afternoon sun with morning shade

Note: This item will only ship to FLORIDA. Your Hibiscus will arrive without open blooms (so they're not damaged while being shipped to you), but you should see flowers open within four or five days.

Orders received after Thursday will ship on the following Monday to guarantee freshness.

Plant Bio

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis HibisQs® Adonicus Double Orange

Bred specially for us by our partners Graff Breeding, Adonicus Double Orange is an exclusive new Tropical Hibiscus that has a lot of exciting attributes. It’s been bred to branch better, so you have a full, lush plant with more flowers. The flowers are also longer lasting than old-school Hibiscus. And unlike the older varieties, these big double flowers stand up straight without hanging down. This tropical flower continues blooming all summer long, no matter how hot or humid the weather gets, so you can continue to enjoy its lush look without missing a beat. It’s also delightfully easy to care for: All you need to do is keep it watered (though fertilizing it will encourage more blooms).

Brand-new Adonicus Double Orange Tropical Hibiscus is hardy in USDA Zones 10-11, but can be brought indoors in cold-winter climates and treated as a houseplant if you want to save it from year to year.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
