Plant Bio

Alocasia Corazon Aquino

Native to areas of the Philippines, Alocasia Corazon Aquino (also commonly referred to as Alocasia Corazon) is a rare selection with silvery green leaves that almost appear to have a metallic sheen. When happy, the leaves can get 12 inches long or more, making a dramatic statement. Like many other Alocasia species, Corazon Aquino appreciates bright light, average household temperatures, and above-average relative humidity levels (60 percent or more is ideal). Water as the top couple of inches so of the potting mix dries to the touch. If you’re in doubt about whether to water, it’s usually better to give it too little water than too much.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.
